چکیده
ABSTRACT: Mastitis causes significant economic losses to the dairy cattle industry. The present study aimed evaluate antibacterial properties of 39 heterocyclic derivatives (1,3-thiazoles and 4-thiazolidinones) against clinical mastitis isolates from cows. Milk samples were collected cows with bacterial species identified by PCR. Antibacterial activity was assessed using broth microdilution method. First, compounds tested four (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Corynebacterium bovis Escherichia coli) randomly chosen those recovered milk (Study 1). Subsequently, strongest all 2). 1,3-thiazoles showed activity, specially 30 38, which also bactericidal according their minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) (MBC) values. spp. Enterobacteriaceae most susceptible 38. Compounds 38 are promising targets for new antimicrobial agents.
